Idlewild is in Yates Township and is the oldest park in PA, and it is the 3rd oldest park in the US. Idlewild was founded in 1878 by the Mellon family. It was built to entertain children and has children’s attractions such as a Storybook Forest and Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. It has 2 coasters, the Wild Mouse and the Rollo Coaster. The waterpark Soak Zone is another addition that added another level to the park.
