The Trailblazer at Hersheypark is a family coaster, without much height or speed, but is still a favorite among many riders. This smooth, steel coaster has a maximum height of 52 feet, and reaches a max speed of just 45 miles per hour. The track length of the Trailblazer is about 1,600 feet, and lasts around one minute and 15 seconds. Designed by Arrow Development, the Trailblazer opened in the park in 1974, making it the second oldest operating coaster in the park and the oldest operating steel roller coaster.
